It’s the Power of Words…and Food!

On September 19th at 7PM we’ll be gathering at the Adinkra Cultural Arts Studio for an Author Talk and Book Signing with noted culinary historian, author, and independent scholar, Michael Twitty to discuss his new book The Cooking Gene. In the lead up to next week, I thought it appropriate to give you all a preview of some of his earlier talks. This specific one is pulled from the TED Archive. Let us know what you think about the idea of “Food as a healing agent for some of the racial issues that plague this country.”

Also, be sure to reserve your seat below. We are expecting it to be a packed house.
